So much to pray for this coming year....

So much to wish and pray for in this coming year.....

Wishing for humanity to find sources of light and love, and the courage to let go of all the darkness, hatred and fear...

Wishing for changes in leadership around the world, for more compassion and empathy, more women's voices, more celebration of diversity, an end to authoritarianism and oppressive dictatorships, and openness to real democracy and the empowerment of all citizens....

Wishing for the alleviation of illness and disease, both through scientific breakthroughs and through human beings deciding to care for each other and consider other people's health and safety and not just their own.....

Wishing for active, implemented solutions to the problems of poverty, sexism, racism.....for everyone to care enough to want all this, for us to want all human beings to equally be able to thrive.....

Wishing for active implementation of solutions to global warming, before we lose that window forever, and that those people suffering from things like hurricanes, blizzards, and fires will find safety, security, and the assistance that they need from their neighbors and their leaders.

Wishing for young people, especially women, with a vision of empathy and care to take over the business of running things in the world.....

Wishing for people who have unnecessarily and fearfully chosen to use weapons such as guns, rifles, rockets, or fire balloons to see the error of their ways and put the weapons down.....

Wishing for those who use weapons of toxic language, lies, emotional manipulations and abuse to put down those weapons too, and seek tools for love and care.....

Hoping that the entire earth and humanity can find ways to take a collective deep breath, the courage to change the course we are on, and the wisdom to embrace our shared humanity.
